Surgical Services

Mountain Vista offers a wide range of surgical procedures – from the most complex open heart operations to minimally invasive procedures that don’t even require an overnight stay in the hospital. Our large Surgical Services Department includes seven state-of-the-art operating suites, including special rooms dedicated to heart surgeries and orthopedic procedures.

Minimally Invasive Procedures

Thanks to breakthroughs in medical technology, many surgeries that once involved major operations can now be performed through tiny incisions. During these procedures, surgeons use instruments guided by miniature cameras. As a result, patients usually heal faster, experience less scarring and can return to their normal activities more quickly. Some of our surgical suites are specifically designed for minimally invasive procedures.

da Vinci Robotic Surgery System

The da Vinci Surgical System provides surgeons with an alternative to both traditional open surgery and conventional laparoscopy, putting a surgeon’s hands at the controls of a state-of-the-art robotic platform. The da Vinci System enables surgeons to perform even the most complex and delicate procedures through very small incisions with unmatched precision.

Outpatient Surgery

New technologies also enable surgeons to perform many operations on an outpatient basis. These procedures minimize surgical trauma and the time needed for recovery, so you can return to the comfort of your home on the same day as surgery.
