Mountain Vista welcomes families and friends to visit with patients at the hospital. We understand that having loved ones nearby can improve healing and help facilitate better care.

Visiting Hours
General visiting hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. Extended visiting hours may be arranged at the discretion of the patient’s physician and the nursing supervisor. Visitors may be asked to leave a patient’s room during tests and treatments.

Special visiting hours are in place for patients in the Intensive Care Unit from 8:00 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. and from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. We also request that only two visitors at a time be inside ICU patient rooms. Comfortable waiting areas are provided nearby.

More flexible visiting hours are available in our Women’s Center for families awaiting the birth of a baby.

Visitor Parking
Free parking is located near all of the hospital entrances. Additionally, valet parking is provided during the day, Monday through Friday, at the main entrance.

Visitor Waiting Areas
The hospital provides spacious and comfortable lobbies and family waiting areas throughout the facility. Wireless Internet access is available in these areas.

Cafeteria
Our cafeteria, located on the second floor, is open daily and provides a wide range of healthy selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including daily hot entrees, a salad bar, grill and a variety of desserts.

Gift Shop
Our gift shop, “A Little Bit of Something,” is located near the cafeteria on the second floor of the hospital and is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The gift shop offers an assortment of gifts, flowers, magazines, candy and beverages.

Chapel
Mountain Vista Medical Center’s Chapel is located off the main lobby, adjacent to the admitting department. Patients and their families are welcome to visit the Chapel anytime.
