KELLY H. ADAMS NAMED CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
OF MOUNTAIN VISTA MEDICAL CENTER

Mesa, Arizona July 25, 2006 – Kelly H. Adams has been named chief executive officer of Mountain Vista Medical Center, a new hospital under construction in Mesa, Arizona.

Adams brings more than 25 years of executive healthcare experience to his new position.

Most recently he served as interim CEO of Palms of Pasadena Hospital, an IASIS facility in St. Petersburg, Florida. Before joining IASIS, Adams served as senior vice president of operations for Surgis, an ambulatory surgery company, and he was a founder and president of Physicians Surgery Centers.  Adams also has served in the chief executive role at hospitals in St. Augustine, Florida and Olympia, Washington, where he was named CEO of the Year.

Adams received his bachelor’s of administration degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and his master’s degree from Tennessee State University.

As CEO of Mountain Vista Medical Center, Adams is responsible for overseeing preparations for the hospital’s mid-2007 opening.

Mountain Vista Medical Center is scheduled to open in mid-2007.  The 178-bed hospital will provide comprehensive healthcare services and will feature a full-service emergency department with 30 beds and a fast-track for less serious illnesses and injuries; a focus on cardiac care, including open-heart surgery and less invasive treatments for heart and vascular disease; state-of-the-art surgical systems and diagnostic imaging technology; and a beautiful women’s and maternity center with labor and delivery suites and a level II nursery.
