Free Heart Healthy Event at Mountain Vista Medical Center is Feb. 19
Event includes free health screenings, education sessions, heart-healthy cooking demonstrations and information about preventing heart disease.

Coronary heart disease is the number one cause of death in the United States, according to the American Heart Association. Improving heart health and helping those with cardiovascular disease is a priority for Mountain Vista Medical Center.
In an effort to educate the community, Mountain Vista is sponsoring its fourth annual Heart Healthy Day from 8 - 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19. The hospital is located at 1301 S. Crismon Road; the event will be held in the Outpatient Lobby on the east side of the campus.
“Our mission is to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve, and with heart disease affecting one in three people, an event like this can make a difference,” says Tony Marinello, CEO, Mountain Vista Medical Center. “This free event is a great opportunity for the community to come to Mountain Vista, see the hospital and learn more about keeping themselves healthy.”
